Roz and Jens got married yesterday!
I was so pleased when Roz asked if I would take photos at her wedding – I first met Roz when I first moved to London four years ago on a music training day, and we bonded over passionate conversations about the challenges facing music education in state schools. I had an inkling her wedding would be relaxed, musical, heartfelt and full of wonderful people – and I was right!
Roz and Jens chose Charlton House near Greenwich for their ceremony and reception drinks. They were joined there by 100 of their friends and family, and it was indeed a wedding full of personal touches, from the music composed and performed for the couple by friends, to the heartfelt readings that brought tears to the eyes of the bride and many of the guests. Roz and Jens’ daughter Mia had a blast exploring the Jacobean manor (and the hedges in the garden!) and the sun shone at just the right time for the couple and their guests to enjoy their drinks amongst the beautiful blooms in the Peace Garden.
Here are a selection of their weddings photos – congratulations Roz and Jens!
